Lady Gaga plans to wear a fake penis on stage.

The 'Bad Romance' singer - who has been dogged by speculation she has had a sex change or has both sets of genitals - can understand where rumours she is a hermaphrodite have come from and plans to make fun of them in an "artistic" way.

The 23-year-old star said: "I want to wear a d**k strapped to my vagina. We all know that one of the biggest talking points of the year was that I have a d**k, so why not give them what they want?

"I also carry myself onstage in a masculine way and sing in a low register. This is not of nowhere, right?

"I want to comment on that in a beautiful, artistic way. How I wanna show it. And I want to call this piece 'Lady Gaga Dies Hard'. Come on, come see me try to persuade everyone to let me wear a penis."

The controversial star - who is well known for her outlandish stunts and outrageous outfits - also blasted contradictory attitudes to sexuality, which let men be more vocal about their conquests than women.

She told Q magazine: "When a guy says, 'Oh I f***ed all these chicks this week', there's a high-five and giggling. But when a woman does it and its publicised or she's open about her sexuality or she's free or liberated, it's 'Oh, she must have a d**k'. There's a threat."

Pop diva Whitney Houston has struggled through the opening night of her first Australian tour since 1988. The singer got through two songs in Brisbane on Monday night before appearing breathless and exhausted, taking a break & then carrying a towel with her for the next few songs.After half a dozen songs, during some of which she coughed, she left the stage to take a break.

Jimi Hendrix Rock Band

Jimi Hendrix is to get his own version of the Rock Band computer game. The late guitar legend's stepsister Janie Hendrix revealed the news to the LA Times – saying that the game would be released before the end of 2010. No further details have been released.

Whitney won't dance

Whitney wants to dance with somebody - but only if she sells out a concert in a few days.

Promoters have cancelled the Whitney Houston show at New Plymouth's Bowl of Brooklands and are taking legal action against the district council.

The R&B diva was scheduled to perform at the TSB Bowl of Brooklands on March 6, but yesterday cancelled, with her promoter Andrew McManus Presents blaming a dispute with the venue's operator, the New Plymouth District Council.

Mr McManus said his company's lawyers were currently drawing up legal papers against the council.
"At this point in time there will be no comment due to pending legal action. We are preparing our case and that is all I can say at this stage," Mr McManus told the Taranaki Daily News.


New Plymouth Mayor Peter Tennent said the council has not yet been formally told by Mr McManus that the concert has been called off and had not heard about any legal action against it.
"Like everyone else, we heard via media release. We have had no direct notification from Andrew," he said.

50 most popular songs about sex

Billboard has come up with a list of the 50 most popular songs about sex with each song given points according to its performance on the Billboard hot 100 chart from August 1958 until January this year.
Physical, released by Newton-John in 1981, topped the list after spending 10 weeks as No 1 in the Billboard Hot 100 chart. And while it certainly speaks to sex with lyrics such as "There's nothin' left to talk about, unless it's horizontally," the song became known as well-known as a track for aerobics classes in line with the singer's exercise-themed video.

Second in the list came Rod Stewart's 1976 song Tonight's the Night, followed by Boyz II Men's 1994 ballad I'll Make Love To You.

"Some songs are steamy slow-jams, some are hi-octane arena-rockers, but what they all have in common (and what got them on this list) is that the subject matter of each song is directly related to sex, in some way," Billboard said in a statement.

Other highlights include Rod Stewart, who made the top 10 twice with Tonight's the Night and Do Ya Think I'm Sexy, and Marvin Gaye hit No 5 with the classic Let's Get It On.
